Internet Download Manager supports firewalls, proxy and mirror servers, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS protocols, redirects, cookies, download queues, directories with authorization, MP3 audio and MPEG video content processing, and a large number of different server platforms. The program integrates seamlessly into all browsers automatically to handle your downloads. It can be also integrated into any other Internet applications that use FTP, or HTTP protocols.
New version adds support for MMS protocol and the site grabber feature. It lets you download required files that are specified with filters, for example all pictures from a web site, or subsets of web sites, or complete web sites for offline browsing. It's possible to schedule multiple grabber projects to run them once at a specified time, stop them at a specified time, or run periodically to synchronize changes.
The new version also adds redesigned and enhanced download engine, the unique integration into all latest browsers and other Internet programs, improved toolbar, enhanced virus protection on download completion, improved link capturing logic, support for XP visual styles, and a wealth of other improvements and bug fixes.
